First Cosmetic Review!

Dose of Colors

              This is one of the items I purchased at The Makeup Show Los Angeles.
It was purchased at the "Naimie's" booth. Dose of Colors Liquid lipsticks were their major sell.  "Namie's" does sell other brands and other items.

I only chose to get one because I had never tried them myself. I have heard good things, but I really did not want to press my luck and buy something I did not end up liking. I do regret now not buying the "Black Rose" limited edition one. I ended up choosing "Purple Rain" because first off I love the color purple and second I really do not think one person can have too many purple lipsticks.

The lippie itself smells like marshmallows to me. I could be wrong but it has a sweet smell, light not over powering. ( FYI I love to smell products) They application is smooth, goes on glossy and dries matte. It does set, wont budge. You wont have to nurse this lippie all day.

Overall I really am glad that I bought this liquid lipstick from "Dose of Colors''. I love mattes and it is purple. I do not like reapplying over and over, so it is great that I do not have to nurse it. They have a lot of different shades. "Dose of Colors" website. They have more colors. Not a bad purchase. I enjoy it very much.

 Friday night was specifically for bloggers and press to get interviews and photos.

 

I attended on Saturday bright and early.

I have been to Imats before about two years ago, so I had an idea of what it would be like.There were more people than I expected considering it was much smaller than Imats. The press were nice. It was a very professional atmosphere and chaotic as well.  There were lines and people trying to get pictures of all the products and also buy products. I do wish they had the Air conditioning up higher though. Like on Arctic. It was warm outside, but 90+ in doors, had to have been considering so many people in a small place. Felt like makeup was melting off the face.

 

I hung with Makeup Vixen the whole time I was there. Clinging to here like a symbiotic twin, never leaving her side. To watch her followers on Instagram and YouTube come up to her with some much delight is a sight to see. She knows her stuff, product pusher all the way. Knowing the details of everything there. I met a lot of wondering people there as well. I had the privilege of meeting Doris MayDay the owner of "Pinupgirlclothing". She is a Doll and very nice. I did my happy booty wiggle in excitment. She gave me a hug. Swoon!

 

I do indeed have a haul and a detailed review of all the things I purchased. I will talk about the company and there customer service. Sorry, there are no Pics to speak of just yet. 

Entering the Internet Blogger world.

This being my first post ever!
 I have been thinking about becoming a blogger for many years.  My love of Makeup, Skin care and Hair care, gave me the urge greatly. This will be a lifestyle blog, so it will not be just about beauty. I hope that this is a really good idea. Being that I will be posting my thoughts and opinions on this blog. I know this is kind of seems redundant. But everyone experience and opinions are different. There are so many Blogs like this out there, I will just see what happens.

First post are the most awkward I think. But I will continue to do this hopefully and grow as a blogger so that I will get better. For my own personal experience and that someone else gets enjoyment out of it along the way.  So that is it. Now going to get some honey for my tea.
